Antarctica Part II – Paulet Island

I still remember our excitements before landing on our first Antarctic shore.  Everyone was super excited to when we were handed our parkas and boots in the conference room. “What? you gonna wear this in the snow?” The hotel manager John was quite worried when he saw me in my jeans.

“Well, these are all that I have…” I was out of ideas.

So I was handed a “space suit” parka too.

The Paulet Island is one of the few Andelee penguin islands.  More than 200,000 Andelee penguins made their homes here.
