Buenos Aires, Argentina, Part VII – Costenera Wildlife Reserv

The big park off the bank of downtown always has this allure of mystery to an explorer like me.  I planned to visit here a couple days ago but my wallet was stolen on that day and I ended up spending a whole day getting that sorted out. Since this is my last day before heading out to Uruguay, I decided to come here to fulfill my desire.

I had a nice walk around the reserve – if only it wasn’t in a hot summer afternoon.  I could see why there weren’t many people in the park.  Most of locals stayed around the beach on the westside of the park where big winds come through.  This would be a nice place for a cool morning walk or a quiet sunset stroll.  But when I was there it was simply one wave of heat after another, even animals thought it was too hot to come out… I only spotted a couple here and there.
