Salta, Argentina

I have heard so many good things about Salta that I had to come for a visit.  As one of the biggest cities in Argentina and close to colonial Bolivia, Salta naturally has a feel of Spanish colonial times.  Its white building sort of reminded me of Sucre in Bolivia or Sevilla in Spain, but it definitely has more trees around the city.  Besides that, it’s just another Argentinian city, I wouldn’t say it is super unique in anything.

I ended up staying in a hostel a little far from the city center, perhaps I would enjoy this place a little more if I stayed in the center.  I bumped into the young Argentinians who had the barbeque party with me in El Cafayate, and they stayed at the center and really liked it.  So many if I don’t spend so much time everyday going into the city I would like it better.
